The CA Assembly voted Thursday to maintain Gavin Newsom’s Covid-19 state of emergency. Some school districts have lifted the indoor masking requirement for school-age kids, as they publicly give him the middle finger. 

Teens who have had 3 vaccine shots are allowed to spend 2 hours in a restaurant unmasked - but they must spend all day in school wearing masks. When Gavin says, "Follow the science!", Californian Democrats clap & cheer.

My teachers were burnt out, cruisy, drug-dealing leftovers from the hippy era, with big hair, large polyester collars, and one with a literal bellbottom suit. He and another male teacher would come out of the restroom, 15 or more minutes late, hyper stimulated and red faced, while we all watched, and waited to get in the classroom.

The 4ish awake humans to every class were usually forced to babysit the other 40 npc's, in group projects. It was like being the foreman in jury duty, except our peers would grade us.

The power to tax is the power to destroy. No fiscal conservative can explain why your home and hearth are jeopardized, to cover these daycare centers, run like a literal prison intake, by the bastard siblings of literal prisoners, telling them how to run the school as a prison.

We watched one of these diverse teachers roll up boogers in her hair and eat them.  It took about 20 years, before they would risk another woodshop. What was once a reserve of water in the reservoirs was let out to sea. There is no insulation on the power lines. So, they will turn off electricity in inclement weather.

It occurs to handy, situationally-aware people, not to trust basic, social institutions.

Now we will see what the trucker convoy dog and pony show can muster for a domestic distraction in the US, just around the time it would be handiest for Russia. I doubt they will have the same success at maintaining any blockades of critical infrastructure for any length of time though.

I don't think that's entirely accurate

The EU and Ukraine have been discussing Ukraine membership. Nobody in the EU actually wants this. There was a referendum on the subject here in the Netherlands where a significant majority voted against an association with Ukraine.

Certain EU officials however visited the Ukraine and told them they could become a part of the EU and join NATO.

I can totally understand how Russia would not want a NATO member installing weapons in this strategic location.

I also dont see how Ukraine (basically a dictatorship, and a poor one at that) joining the EU would benefit anyone actually living in the EU right now.
