In some Asian countries, wearing a face mask is a norm for some people before there was Covid. I suspect this is partly because of air pollution and also as a precaution against catching someone else's germies.

I don't think most people are aware of how important seeing a person's whole face is for kids that age, especially on the younger end of that range. For learning how to talk and recognizing and becoming aware of emotions, it's absolutely crucial.

I feel bad for younger kids in this situation, and their parents. There are going to be, and already are some serious developmental delays happening because of this on top of the general neurosis from constantly being told they need the masks to be safe...even when they have the mighty vaccine.

It really is dehumanizing. Might sound extreme, but I encourage you to actually think about it.
