I do these (covid) days always carry a bottle of warm soapy water in my left pocket (cold drinking water in my right), mixed them up one, and once was enough!
I have, after the deed, and when feeling particularly sleazy (in a nice way, and usually in conjunction with poppers ) used someone's skin to 'wash them' after the event. Hold the skin tightly while they piss and let them fill it like a balloon to 'rinse it out' before blowing them hard again. Trying that as a 'washing tek' in the field, before the event might be a little problematic.

The hospitalization rate for unvaccinated in NYC is four times higher than the hospitalization rate was for the city back in April 2020. If the city wasn’t 85% vaccinated, it would be an absolute disaster right now.

In Maryland 88% of sampled cases are omicron. 91% of hospitalizations are omicron. That makes no sense if omicron is less severe.

Do you all think that omicron infection is going to confer any immunity to future covid-19 lineages?  Or is it just too different and should be viewed as essentially a different disease entirely?  I'm leaning towards it not conferring much in the way of protection from future infections.  Again, I hope I am wrong, but based on how many people are getting both repeat infections and breakthrough infections does not leave me with confidence.

Real world study at US VA showing Moderna covid-19 vaccine has significantly lower risk of infection and hospitalization than the Pfizer vaccine.  Deaths were also lower, but the numbers were too low to determine statistical significance.

I don’t think it’s going to protect against infection much at all. Probably gonna prevent severe illness from other variants.

This data about hospitalization and deaths is grim. It was a grave mistake to label omicron “mild.”
