Warrk, in January and Feburary everyone knew Wuhan had a covid outbreak, it was on the news... some intelligence agencies warned Governments about covid being a threat to their countries and the world as early as December. It was also brought up in the house of commons here in Canada. Would you like to see that recording?

Every day I watch the charge nurse struggle to figure out assignments for the next shift. Every shift I watch them be unable to abide by the law in terms of staffing ratios. Cms could come through at any moment and start shutting shit down. But of course they won't.


I haven't been drug tested in over a year. They simply cannot afford to lose any full time staff anymore for any reason

Nursing culture are just toxic we need a serious overhaul in patient care.

Sounds like its not a shortage of beds overloaded with covid, its just a shortsge of staff. Is any of that due to laid off unvaxxed staff? Or just people dont want to work there at all?

I just ignored the policy that says you have the wait a certain amount of time to come back after having covid symptoms. Effectively, I did suck it up. Went into work the very next day. I don't have a family to be concerned with though

I do not know a single person who opted to quit working and not get the vaccine once it was mandated. The reason for the shortage is that anyone who gets sick is supposed to wait a certain number of days- I believe it is 5 now- before coming back to work. And practically everyone who works there got sick in the last 2 weeks. Many of us just didn't notify anyone and worked through it. There is frankly no alternative. My patients aren't dying of covid anymore but if I don't show up they'll be dying of other things
