If not the most infectious, it is only losing to measles by a hair. Nobody documented measles when it first hit the human population in its pandemic phase, so omicron really is an event never documented in human history. A disease that will infect a majority of the human population is a few short months.



It’s so infectious, that when this graph starts to go back down we will know nearly everyone who is susceptible will have been infected. I suspect the vast majority won’t even know it.

Anyone with any sort of braincells could understand "I don't know, you can try it" is a mixed message that leaves the choice up to the person especially when it comes to administering medical advice.

If he really wanted my mom to get the shots, he would have said so directly. He very clearly left the choice up to her and is willing to exempt her from being forced to have them to be able to travel and go certain places. Not that she needs the exemption because she isn't travelling or going out.

Can you stop being obsessive about the scenario. Let it go in your mind already before you make yourself more sick.

There are systems in place that have evolved through the ages. Lol. This is what you get when English majors do evolutionary virology. Immunity does not cause mutations. Mutations are random events caused by copying errors or the impact of high energy particles from space or radioactive materials. These events occur at the same rate no matter the vaccination status of the person hosting the virus.

On average, an unvaccinated person will have more mutation events because they have more replication occurring and more importantly, more replication cycles to amplify mutations that do occur.

Is it any surprise that EVERY SINGLE VARIANT OF CONCRN has arisen in highly unvaccinated populations.

There is a high probability that omicron didn’t even evolve in humans. It is likely a result of a double spillover event.
