Soil Composition
    #2744530 - 05/29/04 04:15 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

Ok Ok So I got two types of soil composition recommended for my San Pedro and My peruvian torches. There is the all not so popular stock sand, vermiculite, potting soil, and cow manure. I also recieved a link to nanooks soil mix which is land scaping rock, limestone gravel, potting soil, and cow manure. Here is what I got: organic cow manure from a farm, organic potting soil with nutrients etc..., sand, land scaping stone 3/8" and I got limestone pellets. I could only find pellets and the dust. Will Pellets will be a good supstitute for limestone gravel? Also should i maybe add some sand and a bit of vermiculite to nans mix????? Please get back to me

Pellets are fine but rock phosphate (limestone gravel) is more of a time released ph buffer, up to 3 years.
