Do I mix all the ingredients including the landscaping rock or do i mix em all and put land scaping rock on top I'm just a litte confused I know what to add but how do I add it mix topsoil, limestone, cow manure, and then put on landscaping rock or just put it all together?? Also should I use sand or vermiculite with these other ingredients or just stick with nan's solid mix... Oh yeah one more thing... Is this mix good for san pedro and sand dollars and peruvian torches... Let me know thanks... HA HA

You mix it all together...  some people but rocks on top to stop their soil from eroding away and make it look pretty, your call.

You might wanna sit down and crush some of the rocks you put into the soil though, nan uses smaller ones than those limestone chunks.

I would use less manure than it recommends, and more topsoil (or something even better to lighten the soil, like sand or vermiculite) The composted stuff is great, but if you're using the steer manure I'm thinking of, it dries into a freaking brick  :nonono: :nonono:

I got organic cow manure and I might have a natural sand from out back because there is a cranberry bog in my back yard... I'm not sure maybe i should just try a mix of vermiculite organic cow manure, limestone pellets, heavy topsoil also all natural... Would that work If I kinda make up my own thing but just make a nice collection of stuff that is proven to work to make a nice consistancy maybe more of a grain type of mixture with rocks to allow a lot of air to the roots...????
