It is a gamble. Because so far I've done nothing and it's worked fine. So taking a foreign substance into my body doesn't make sense to me since I can't predict the future and forsee something unforeseeable.

But let me make personal attacks against you for having a different viewpoint and talk down and belittle you for it.

When I was 16 I found a really nice pair of rims for super cheap, the tires were bunk though. I didn’t give a fuck and drove around on bare tires for close to a year and was fine. Would buying a new pair of tires have been a gamble, or was I simply lucky to avoid a situation where bald tires would have resulted in a crash?

Luck is not predictive of future occurrences, data often can be though.

Covid the virus itself is a huge gamble.
I know people dead of covid. I know of no one even injured from the vaccine
Part of covid is a gamble too but if you could choose getting shot in the face with a 12 shotgun slug or the arm with a .22lr you would say it's a lot less of a gamble to get the less likely to kill you gamble.

People got vaccines 7+ months ago. None of them are dying. Meanwhile in just one state in America that's got a bunch of antivaxxers 900 people died in one day.

Seems like you have to be fucking retarded to call the vaccine a risk when the virus itself is going to inoculate you one way or another eventually unless you turn into a hermit.

Explain why the only doctors and scientists against it are either long retired, or no longer employed and thus no longer relevant in their field?

Those weekly government cia uploads to all educated people's brains I guess

There's no data on long term effects.

Doctors use to support cigarettes.

Doctors were getting paid to over prescribe oxy.

I know this is different and covid is running rampant some places.

I understand the analogy feevers but I don't agree it's a great one.

And I understand all your points but I'd have to ignore my experience of covid and adopt someone else's and adopt the "fear" of it which I can't do.

I don't think I'll view things different unless my experience of it changes.

Really only reason I responded or ever posted here is because there are a lot of comments that were basically saying all sorts of things about me (even if unknowingly, because I don't have the vax and don't plan to get it) and it's like I have to defend myself and my choice against people saying my life should be hell, I should lose my job, my family should die, because I won't get the vax.

Meanwhile my life has been good and my family has been well and I haven't done anything wrong.

I don't go out spreading covid, I've never even had it. If I did have it then it must be the easiest virus to fight because I've never had symptoms.

I've gotten sick once and got over it like it was normal.

Only reason I ever posted here. Cause basically everyone says I'm a dumb piece of shit who deserves to be kicked out of society when I was one of the people working during the pandemic and never been on unemployment a day of my life or took a handout from the gov and never did anything destructive or hurtful to any of you, but in a dumb piece of shit who should die and lose my job..

Big deal you say. i wouldn't even know covid existed if it were not for the news.

However 0.2% of a cities population is a shitload of people and your hospitals are overwhelmed. Your kids break an arm they're waiting, your grandma has a heart attack she dies waiting for care. Etc... Your doctors and nurses are overtaxed. But hey why should that concern me. Most people are just selfish dickheads some people are because of ignorance some are because of stupidity.

If you've ever tried a drug you didn't know where it came from or how pure it was just to get high but you're afraid of a vaccine you're a loser

I'm very fat and fairly old. I would be likely to die should I get infected.

When people say "the healthy need no vaccine" I'm like "OK, so you are abandoning me in the desert, not out of necessity but for a slight pinprick of uncertainty whule you stuff yourself with drugs untested and drugs tested to be bad for you."

I take it a bit personally because I'm the one with the comorbidities and I don't think I have any less right to life because of them.

The herd needs thinning. Covid is a natural response to that. If you are afraid of dying then work out, take your vitamins, get your vaccine, amd stay the fuck away from me.

If the vaccine is so perfect then the people who are at risk should just get it and shut the fuck up. Then theyre protected right? The whole thing is just classic divide and conquer...

And why come if the unvaxxed keeps dying or recovering thus gaining anti bodies and immunity, it doesnt make sense that eventually covid will run out of people to infect?

Their answer will probably be about the varients. But then so we keep taking shot after shot like 5-10 shots per year?

If the vaccine protects you why am I a threat to anyone if they get the vaccine? especially if I don't have covid?

I have family who got the vax and family who didn't.

The family who got the vax still invite me over and tell me it's my choice to make.

I'm not anti vax im anti being forced to take a vax or face social reprecussions when I don't personally want it. I don't get the flu shot either.

I don't trust what's going on so I don't want to be involved with it or be a part of it. Something about what's going on just doesn't sit well with me. Something seems off. I could be wrong.

I want to be left alone and let to live my life. I don't want to be forced to do things.

I'm not out infecting people so why can't I just live my life ?

If you get the vax why do you care if I do? I'm not using a hospital bed, I'm not out being reckless spreading covid to people.

I'm working everyday trying to get by and improve my life and build a better life for my kids.

I don't get what the hell I'm doing that's so wrong just because I won't get a vax

We’re done. As soon as everyone has immunity covid becomes a nuisance. If we get there through infection another 40,000 people will die. If everyone got vaxxed this week covid would be over by October.

Remember two months ago when you said that 300 deaths a day wasn’t bad. Now we’re at 1500. At what point does someone say that’s too many deaths that can be prevented if everyone did their part. That’s almost 15x the number of car fatalities we have every day.

People who dont get vaccinated are a bigger burden on the healthcare system - for everyone - and a bigger burden on the rate for infection - for everyone - and an increase of the burden on the economy - for everyone.

And why? Because they, like Koods says, aren't willing to make the slightest sacrifice for the common good.

This year worldwide the official death count goes over 6 million dead, maybe that highly symbolic number gets through to some people.

Despite all efforts and over 50 trillion dollars spent to the contrary, Covid is more efficient than Aktion Reinhard.

Even in the US, a year and a half of covid was 10x more lethal in terms of American lives lost than the Vietnam war.
