Getting vaccinated increases the demand to buy large quantities of vaccines from large pharmaceutical corporations with taxpayer money, the more people that get vaccinated the more vaccines they can sell and the more money they can make at the taxpayer expense.

People are dying and infecting others with COVID19, causing lockdowns and new health safety rules, and you seem more focused on the money corporations are making than trying to help people as a whole and get us through this pandemic.

Got another bout this damn seasonal dry cough that seems way worse that all the last two times while fucking fully vaccinated and now lost all sense of smell and taste so fuck you koods and everyone else. Unbelievably pissed right now.:mad2:

Also yeah I always found it ridiculous people who criticize pharmaceutical companies for profiting after risking literally billions of dollars of their money to develope a drug that changes the face of medicine. Thereby helping or even saving countless lives from pain anguish and even death in perpetuity from then on and then using those profits to continue to advance modern medicine and so on and so forth. Damn those pesky evil pharmaceutical companies :flowstone::shakefist::flowstone:

Corporate monopolies that are mandated by government and funded by taxpayer money is not supply and demand.

If the corporations were sincere about helping people instead of just making lots of taxpayer money then they would release all of their private research and data as well as drop the patents so that smaller companies can help create and distribute life saving drugs. They would also use real research and data to explain why ivermectin does or does not work instead of spreading blatant fear and misinformation.

They didn't risk their own money, they risked your money. And the numbers are not looking strong to support the waste.

Omg were not exactly subsidizing pharmaceutical companies here. They did risk thier money and equity tho so that's just a fucking lie asshole. The only thing I am arguing for is transparency. If the vaccine really does save lives releasing all of the research and data will support that claim. Unfortunately we have been left to our own devices to find this data, the supposed reverse engineering on github was censored before most people including myself could examine it and based on the numbers the reality seems that the average healthy adult has a low chance of dying from covid-19 and maybe a marginally lower chance when vaccinated while the potential side effects of either option are unclear.

The corporations provide the vaccine for taxpayer money with no oversight and the taxpayers have no choice. You're supposed to just trust the "Science". The governments buy the vaccine with taxpayer money and the taxpayers have no right to consent. You're again supposed to just trust the "Science".

When we started this thread, August 11 (a month + a week ago) worldwide confirmed cases were 204 million and deaths 4.3 million

Now, 38 days later, its 227 million confirmed cases and 4.7 million confirmed deaths.

It seems every day we gain 600K confirmed cases and 10K deaths :sad:

Wtf do you mean no oversight. If anything the FDA are being too conservative in the way they are regulating these vaccines. Full approval should have happened a long time ago.

The booster approval is likely gonna come 2 months too late. Also FDA regulations while super important also lead to a burocratic quagmire that add to the cost and delay or even denial of important medicine so it's important to find a well informed science and safety sensible balance to these types of important regulations :sadyes:

The FDA approval process is ridiculously burdensome.

My dad invented a device that took 15 years to get approval and cost tens of millions of dollars to comply with all their demands. His company required so much extra funding to keep the process going by the time all was said and done, the venture capitalists owned practically the entire company. The device got approval 7 years after he died 🤦‍♂️
