That is a viable method, and unlike the bank I'm as good as gold :awegold:  but it would require a learning curve for everyone who wants to give to learn how to do an Ethereum transaction.

While I think its a big leg up for everybody to learn to use crypto, I'm afraid that some people would rather not donate than learn how to use crypto.

Easier would be if Metalfaith handled the USD donations and, once in, converted them to Ethereum and sent them over.

I could then, taking screenshots of the transaction, exchange it painlessly to euros and bank it to the charity.

I can transact the Eth to Eur immediately on arrival to prevent Eth fluctuations from altering the donated sum too much.

Ethereum transactions are almost free and domestic banking is free for me so this would be very cost effective.

This way the ones that want to transact in Ethereum can do so and those who want to bank domestically can do so also.

I recommend anyone to learn how to do a crypto transaction but, those who don't want to, shouldnt be made to.



Any ideas on the sign?  Serious ideas not related to them hand cranking a peeing cherub?

I just want this level of pay off because it's very funny to me

If we can do some kinda mind blowing foutain or like nipple taps where we all kick in to switch it over to keg or veer every year without any kinda insane witchcraft stuff or ppl getting hurt or robbed that's just gravy. I feel like we might have to raise up an army over there to make sure someone watches our stuff tho or idk how stuff works clearly we can't just throw money at this and think it solves anything. And what about the whole Netherlands charity thing? So we put money in over there and nothing can come out? Sounds very European how does that work? Sounds like you guys are jsut stealing the money and going welp America as an excuse? Very confusing :confused:

And I really do need to get over the Crypto-currency learning curve- it can't be THAT hard can it? I think it's just a mental block or something I mean it look me like 5 years to figure out buying/selling stocks but it was actually pretty easy. I have a feeling crypto is going to be a little bit more difficult but we will see-

Yeah - greasy cash. I promise it wasn't used for anything illegal- I can get crisp ones if that makes the person feel better :smile:



The Woman in my avatar is how the kids in Africa will feel if they just had clean water and a source of water without having to walk across dangerous highways for miles just to survive- sometimes spending half the day just to not die of dehydration and living in poverty.

She is also an angel of the earth and soon joined forces with the fire queen and went on mad crazy adventures with some other gods to Egypt and throughout Africa before the oceans became polluted-

Here I was, minding my own business when I suddenly got a popup that showed Someone Had Just Deposited over 1040 Stallar Lumen in my XLM wallet with mention of the water wells project 

Needless to say, a friend - needless to say, a Shroomerite!

For privacy I won't name him, but hes of course welcome to step forward

we chatted a bit and I immediately set to sending the XLM across the world to an exchange to swap it to Euros, €334.89 of them, awaiting pooling for the buy.

Since its now Euros, the price is fixed to the same currency as the charity deals in.

Thanks to our fantastic friend, welcome to come forward, we are now officially

+€334.89

towards the project, with 2/3 of 1 well already received in donations.
