WBS (soak or ground up)

i was planning on getting wbs to start with instead of using brf, and i have seen posts on putting in a blender and turning it in to flour, and i have sen posts that say soak them to let the endospores grow before pc'ing them. i was wondering if either way is definitely better, or is it just a matter of opinion?

No need to soak making wbsf there are the same endosores bacillus and clostridium that reside in just about all flours and all foods for that matter. Its just a great precaution to do so plus it rehydrates your grain for water content so your killing 2 birds 1 stone. Many people just simmer there grains with out the soaking period.
