the site it comes from isn't in any way disrespectful towards Jerry...if anything it's actually pretty damn informative, and it seems to be based entirely on debunking the common misconception that he died from a drug overdose

what is about that site that makes you think the person that made it was trying to diss on Jerry?

as far as I know everyone is getting tired of him comming over to OTD and flaming the shit out of everyone there (regardless if they've ever voiced their opinion or not) and I for one am getting sick of all these negative vibes he's been spewing...especially considering the fact that there's no damn reason for him to be upset about the pic in the first place

it just seems to me like he's got some hair up his ass, and now he's hell bent on causing problems until he gets his way  :tongue:

Sorry Muppet I did jump to conclusions.  You were simply showing us what everyone is talking about.  I do however agree with Lightning Fractal that that thing is in very poor taste.

that's cool dude, I ain't tryin to start shit or anthing...I just don't personally see why the site causes so much commotion, so I naturally assumed LF was making a big deal out of nothing and that everyone else was just jumpin on the bandwagon cause they assumed he knew what he was talking about when he said the pic was insulting to Jerry

if you guys don't much care for it then I can accept that (even if I might not personally understand it myself) I just wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to see the link for themselves so that they could make their own educated descision based on whether or not the site is offensive to them personally

that's all it is - it's just a site that explains the details of what went on during the autopsy, and it explains what the doctor that performed the actual autopsy finally concluded as the real cause of death (as a way to debunk all the myths about Jerry dieing from an overdose)

there isn't even any actual photos of him - just a doll that's used as to demonstrate the procedure

i clicked the link and started going through the pseudoautopsy. after a few pages, i was neither offended nor entertained. i thought it was just stupid.

then, after a couple more pages, i realized that the autopsy information is true. i think this is pretty cool. that site is great for the fan that wants to know every last garcia detail, including the weight of his liver.

the site is there to inform fans, not to disrespect jerry. if a person sees a problem when viewing that series, it does not lie within that site. the problem lies with the person's inability or unwillingness to come to terms with jerry's death. this is understandable; jerry is a god to many.
