i have found that REAL mayonase jars have blue plastic lids that fit on 1/2 pint jars,just look around,you will find some,if not,eat some mayonase sandwithes........

Just be carefull to remove all the tiny chunks of glas that stick to the cake after the jar is broken. Shrooms love to grow arount tiny objects. I don?t think it?s adviseable to eat glas splinters...

The idea isn't to smash it into little bits, just crack it open like an egg. You can put it in a bag if you are wary of flying bits.

Damn it, MDMAX. Every ont of you're posts is a waste of space. So don't make posts saying that something else is a waste of space. And I know that you'll say this post is a waste as well, but at least it has a point, trying to get you to shut up.

Just use the Ziplock disposable 1/2 pint containers..available everywhere and can be used 3-4 times.

Meltor I'm glad you have noticed I'm a little dissapointed in the shroomery. I just think there are to many post of useless information like the most recent post that camel made about dead corpses. It is of no value at all and it's a waste of my time by clicking on the link to find out if there is anything useful inside. If the idiot needs to joke around then he can go to the chat room because that is another area of imformation that is mostly useless. The moderators need to make a joke forum or at least read all the post and delete the ones of no value. Now for capt. max, someone that is knowledgable about mushrooms I thought would see that breaking the glass would be more trouble then its worth. I know he is not talking about shattering the thing but there will always be shards of small glass. I myself would have to come up with something better then that.

mdmax, this is a perfectly valid tek for people in third world countries or anywhere's where jars are inaccessable. You've been spoiled by the walmart down the street.

And frankly, I think you are being very closed minded as well. If you have a better idea - or any idea at all - why don't you post it instead of nothing but whining complaints. Your posts are the real waste of space.
