yellow no grow spots in jars

i did two batches of jars with two separate syringes. the second batch is looking good and almost ready to be birthed. but the first batch is slow and on almost every jar two of the four injection holes have produced no growth while the other two look normal. the injection points with no growth have turned a slight yellow color. there is no growth on these yellowish spots of any kind, it's as if the rice&verm has been injected with yellow food coloring. now the normal looking white growth is reaching these yellow spots and is growing AROUND the yellow, i.e. not taking control of the food coloring like substance. what is going on here? should i abandon all hope for these jars? THANK YOU

If it's a pale brownish yellow, i wouldn't worry. This is "water damage".
