Uploading .pdf files

Hi,

I have a few .pdf files I'd like to share with the community.  I could get some free webspace somewhere which wouldn't be a problem, but for reference purposes I thought that being able to upload them to the server might be better?  If there was a directory devoted to .pdf's it may grow into a nice size library of sorts.

I'm not sure if .pdf files can contain malicious code?  Or if the option to upload pdf's can be granted to people?

I know right now we can only upload images.  pdf's would be nice too :smile:

So what are your thoughts?  Do you think being able to upload .pdf files is a good idea?  I know that some can be VERY large, but a restriction can be put on the size limit, just like with the pics.
