Is regular white rice flour OK?

Hello, and greetings from Finland! I used to visit here some years ago and grew mushrooms back then. Since then, I've had a few years break because of some bad experiences with the shrooms. Now I have the courage and will for another experience, and have set up a modest shroom project again. My question is simple: is regular rice flour (white) absolutely not going to work, or is it just a little less good? I already inoculated my jars yesterday, but I'm impatient to find out.. I do have stuff left in the syringe, and MushMush print, so I can go and find the brown rice stuff if I absolutely need to.

I believe white rice isn't used because of the starch content. I'd get the brown rice flour.

I believe because white rice is polished (no bran husk), it is also missing a lot of nutrients and more complex carbohydrates that the mushies will find more beneficial

The regular rice flour does seem to work. Somehow, at least, since my jars are now a week old and the white spots are developing quite nicely. I also have some jars with full grain rye flour coming up, so in a month or so I will be able to compare the results...
