That article makes it clear right-wing speakers were motivated by stirring shit, and not actually speaking.  Anne Coulter for example was offered multiple other venues but she turned them down, as the point wasn’t to speak to citizens it was to cause a stir at UC Berkeley, it was to stir shit and then run back claiming she was persecuted.

Unless your point was the conservative media created an artificial situation they knew they could cry about and then milked it in donations and page views for over two years.

Antifa is one of the ways the nonfascist part of the population deals with the threat of fascism.


Since you're a rightwinger, let me use some relatable imagery.


If your body gets infected with a dangerous Nazi germ (not necessarily referring to germans, fascism is international), it starts working right away to start to produce antibodies. The antibodies are entities that course peacefully through the streets of the circulatory system but once they see the invading alien germ they fuck him up.

Street Antifa (the young guys in black) are like those antibodies, they are antibodies against the germ of fascism, in the guise of street fascists.

Street fascists are people who are opposed against very many people in society, want to see them exterminated and are often more than willing to verbally and physically confront these people for being different. In such cases a street antifascist may respond by kicking their head in instead.

You must stop political fascism and police fascism, of course, but also street fascism, and that requires people who meet them on their level.

Most antifa are concentrated on political fascism and police fascism.

Its not "political correctness" to want to prevent a random gay guy from being beaten to death in the street - it is the basic human decency of wanting to prevent a lynching.

Any decent human being would have the antifa agenda of preventing or stopping the fascist's violence against the innocent bystander.

I mean, gman, if you're a concealed carrying gun owner, you're out in a restaurant and a guy comes in with weapons and starts executing the visible minorities, would you use your gun to stop him or would you join in on the ethnic cleansing operation of the restaurant?
