Hey I’m like 90% sure these are Gymnopilus Junonius. Sadly I can never find big fruit
I’m guessing the amanitas are panther and muscaria The yellow amanita was growing near a acorn tree.
Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
In wood chips, Virginia, USA
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Yellow and rusty brown for mature ones/ Gills
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Orange with red scales, solid/thick
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Orange, conical/convex
Spore print color: Very important! Rusty brown/orange
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
None
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.
Scent is very pungent.

I'm Not Good With Gyms, & I Can't Really Identify The Amanita Mushrooms As A.Muscaria Because I Can't See The Stem & The Volva, But From What I've Read, Amanita Pantherina Doesn't Grow In Your Area. You Should Definitely Wait For A TI On This One.

I would be incredibly careful “guessing” which Amanitas you have as most will definitely kill you. That could be a pantherina but it’s pretty beat up and these pics aren’t all that great for ID. As for the gyms I would say no that’s not a gym. They can get pretty big.
All that said I am not a mycologist but I can tell you that picking wild edibles and “guessing what they are” is a recipe for disaster.

The gyms I always find are usually small and don’t grow to be big for some reason in my area. The volva is white and has a yellow stipe. As for the brown Amanitas yeah idk I always stay away from those but decided to pick and have them id. I’ll get better pics of the gyms later today after work and see if that’ll help. I’m always hunting for gyms so I’m super sure about them but would rather have a ti comfrim. Also gyms don’t always grow to be big especially if they are Gymnopilus Junonius. I’ll also post better pics of the yellow Amanita after work

Like I Said, I Don't Believe Amanita Pantherina Grows In Virginia. I Can't Find Any Website Stating It Grows There Or Any Post Of Someone Finding It There.
Edit: I Have Found Information Stating That Amanita Pantherina Does In Fact Grow In The United States, I Was Wrong. My Apologies.

Those are non-active, for sure not Gymnopilus Junonius looks more like a common Agrocybe.
Nice Amanita pantherina find though!

Here’s some better pics of the orange mushrooms. Would like a I’d on them. They have all the qualities of a Gym. If they aren’t oh well

Compare the little brown ones to Flammulaster erinaceella.
Compare your Amanita with Amanita flavorubescens

Just seen your new Amanita photos after I posted. I think you have two different Amanita species there, the yellow ones look like Amanita flavorubescens, I'm not sure about the other ones. Does the flesh stain reddish or pinkish when cut or injured?
Edit: none of them are Amanita muscaria, if that's all you wanted to know?

I see red staining in your first set of pics. Compare to Amanita rubescens.

Just with practice and experience, I didn't go to school for this or anything, I'm just an amateur collector with an obsession for identifying mushrooms. Just by following this site I've learned a lot, and I'm still learning. If you're interested in learning, just buy a few guide books, join you're local mycology society or fungus group, follow this site or join some mushroom identification groups on Facebook. You may be surprised how quickly you pick it up.

Ok I see. Yeah both of the amanitas are what you listed thanks. They have red bruising to them. So is it a green light to dry them since they aren’t poisonous dried? And yeah i think ur spot on for the little ones. Here’s one last pic of them

Your Amanitas are poisonous raw or dried, but they both appear to be Amanita sect. validae, which are edible when cooked well. However, although I'm pretty certain on the IDs, I would hesitate to say they are edible because I have never collected these species myself, and although there are some Amanitas which are edible, I would not recommend them for inexperienced collectors because there are some deadly poisonous Amanitas which could easily be confused with these. Nevertheless, you will never be able trip off these mushrooms anyway, they do not contain the same substances as Amanita muscaria.
