Haha, they skipped black man and went straight to black woman. Hell no, that movie is going to flop. I don't understand all this. The woman who played in the new Men in Black movie said they should rebrand the series "People in Black" :lol:

And of course now they're changing Ariel to a black woman, and the same people who say "it's just a fictional story!" get angry with actresses like Scarlet Johansen for playing Asian roles like she did in Ghost in the Shell.

Just make an original movie with black people if the goal is to have non white stars, stop trying to change shit like that, it's weird, and honestly just seems spiteful.

Because it's a far out idea that intelligence is 007 movie stuff anyway.  It's mostly, computer nerds, military eavesdropping, and paying people off.  When they're not smuggling coke.

I don't watch movies anymore, but I just think it's everyone jumping on the women's empowerment bandwagon. I don't know how I feel about it being a woman and all... but I do know they are using political agendas to get people to buy products and see movies.

Maybe watch the vid I posted. Even black men think it's ridiculous. But you wouldn't dare use "black man" in that same context I'm sure.

If you think it's all about the story and nothing else, then you'd question the decision of changing the race and sex for a historically native British male character.
