fuzziness appered then disapeered

hey guys so I just put some cakes in the FC 3 days ago..and 2 more 2 days ago they were dunked and rolled in vermiculite....so anyway the cakes seemed to get really fuzzy yesterday and even early this morning...however when I checked a few mins ago the fuzziness seems to have gone away a lil bit...now I know they are supposed to get fuzzy but is that fuzz supposed to go away? I assume when they start growing pins that would all grow over the mycelium but that isn't the case no pins yet so I am wondering if I am doing something wrong....any thoughts everyone?

ok so its not a shotgun Fc its one that has a single hole with a air tube and fliter and pump turn the pump on for 30 mins 2x a day....I also fan it when I check on them....however when I checked on them again this morning the fuzziness is back (I don't think its excessive but then again never did this before) I was more concerned that the fuzziness went away I thought it was supposed to be a lil fuzzy until it starts producing pins and all that....I can get pics in a few hours but I am kinda thinking its ok now (or I hope)

yeh yeh deffintly my camera is broken when someone gets home later ill use thiers and post pics as soon as I can....HOWEVER I did realise something so like I said the kit I got uses a single air pump to pump air though a hepa filter into the tank I was told 30 mins 2x a day but here is what I noticed wich kinda makes sense to me but figured I would throw it out there....IF I check them before I put the air pump on it looks fuzzy however if I put the air pump on the fuzziness goes away for a lil while before it come back ( I kinda just put 2 and 2 togather here) so I am wondering if I should either put the pump on longer or maybe even better more often? or maybe once I see the fuzziness come back I should put it on for a bit?....again ill post pics as soon as I get a camera this afternoon

No problem, I had the same kit. Maybe I can help you out. That design is kinda crappy but it can be made work. I think I ran mine 3 times a day, every eight hours for thirty minutes.

Ok thanks man yeh I have read a shot gun is better but this is my first time doing this (mainly cause those beautiful tiny pieces of paper are NOWHERE to be found :sad: ) I also have only taken mushrooms a couple times YEARS ago...so I wanted a cheap easy kit that I wouldnt have to put much cash or much time into that's why I got this kit....ideally if things go well I am going to grow in a mono tub next time...I was recamended this kit by a few as they said it has everything you need super simple for a beginner...like I said ill put up some pics today...OH also after dunking the cakes some small pieces broke off so what I did was split those in 3 and put them outside in a shady spot and just sprickeled a lil dirt over them not much I figured it would help block the light so the pieces could kinda colonize togather...should I keep these wet? if I watter it a few hours later (during the day) they are dry so should I keep watering them a lot...I know they might not produce anything just seemed a waste to just chuck it in the garbage.
