ID request: Guatemalan blue bruising pans, opinions wanted

So our friend and fellow shroomerite swampyappleseed is in Guatemala and found some blue bruising pans growing in grass near a volcano:



He says he’s pretty sure there’s no dung involved, just grass. You can see blueing in the broken stipe pic and on the cap in hand pic. Any ideas of what he’s looking at?

Was there any cows near by though DocG?
I find a good number of p. Cyans where dung has been severely weathered to the point it looks almost like plain dirt. If not then I'm baffled Haha

He said he inspected the area for any dung and found no evidence of it but could not rule out that cows or horses had been there at some point in history. Or he could not rule out that they had not been there. Whichever is correct linguistically.

Definitely resembles Coplandia Cyanescens. 
its possible they fertize the grass with dung, or there were cows/horses there at some point.

Could be panaeolus bisporus that have been sun bleached.

P. bisporus is a dung-dweller too, and while it may resemble this species it does not solve the problem of this one being found in grass

Bisporus can grow in grass.

That's the first time I'm hearing of that, cool stuff.

It could be P. bisporus, someone with better eyes should check if all those scabers are characteristic for the species though
