Some people will ignore the law. Any law. But laws do deter a lot of people and the ones who aren’t detered can be caught and stopped. This is how criminal law works. Except for guns apparently:

Gun ownership should be mandatory for all working federal employees. That way, if shit goes down, it goes down in a blaze of glory. Lives might get saved. Maybe. That or really loud metal detectors and no guns at all in the workplace.

gun control works. "The black market will just take the place of legal market. Is the most pissweak argument. Anyone who thinks this needs to come to Australia and try to buy a gun illegally. Or even just see the quality and condition of a gun that you could buy illegally. It makes it infinitely harder for a mentally unstable loner to find a gun and go on a mass shooting at the spur of the moment. I've had colleagues lose their shit and attack staff/ customers on two occasions. I wonder what would of happened if either of them could of gone down the street and bought a gun on their lunchbreak. Rest in peace all people killed by gun violence.

You wouldn't be a black market firearms dealer long selling guns to nutters. They sell guns to gang members, no one cares when one drug dealer shoots another, so no investigation where the gun came from even happens. Shoot up your office and that gun's history is going to be investigated.

Americans actually believe any lunatic in Canada or UK can walk into their local illegal gun dealer and buy one. It doesn't work like that. And i am pretty fucking connected too, any drug I want, human trafficked whores, stolen property etc etc and I still can't get a gun. I could get my fucking wife killed FFS and I can't get an illegal gun. The illegal gun market does a better job screening people than the legal process for getting a gun does.

Mass shooters always get their guns legally. When denied that option they simply don't commit the mass shooting, and spend their time ranting online or writing angry letters to the editor. Everywhere has nuts, but America gives them guns

My friend told me something interesting about American History. The US was helped tremendously by guns back in the beginning of the country. Fighting againist the British was very much helped by the use of rifles. Then theres the Civil War, again, lots of use of guns as the prefered weapon of war.

And he said because of this long history of guns, the use of guns is engrained into American Society. Not for everyone, but for enough people that it causes things like mass shootings and mass murders to occur.

The gun violence is just a symptom.  There’s a very real lack of God going on and all the consequences of it are glaringly clear, it’s everywhere

2 Timothy 3 - But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

It’s no accident the attack on Christianity is as far along as it is.  I can understand in a way because when you look around at who are supposed to be the representatives, for a large part it’s been hijacked by people who are using it to do evil... so it’s no wonder people become turned off before they even start.  Look at the vatican, that is not the work of a God that would choose to come into this world in a barn, have no possessions and essentially wander with only his shirt on his back.  It’s a dangerous time.

There’s another thing that, could be everywhere but it’s certainly in america.  The best example I can think is in medicine.  We have a real tendency (and even within the business it is commonly stated) to where they isolate one chemical, make it as strong as possible and that’s your great medicine.  It’s a very american outlook, look at classic muscle cars.  So of course people are going to say.... people are shooting, it must be the guns!  Remove the guns and it’ll all be fixed.  It’s an amazingly ignorant way to look at the situation because there is so much more causing this, the gun violence is just a symptom.  Look at entertainment, that’s the shit we put in out minds day after day so it’s no wonder it’s become a sort of mental map on how to act.

Look into subliminal coercion, and suggestion...you can’t eat garbage and stay healthy whether mental or physical.  All it takes is looking around but people have these prewritten scripts and start picking sides instead of really looking at the more subtle details.

Take all the guns if you want but it’s not going to fix the fact that people are still destroying other peoples lives out of greed, wrath, and an all around spiritually dead outlook.  Rag on Christianity all you want but if you actually look into it instead of listening to “the cool kids” on tv and their ignorant attacks you’ll be able to see exactly what is happening.  There’s a reason they’re trying really fucking hard to dissuade from looking into it.  They want to turn you off before you even start....


Alright, that said, come and get me guys... tell me how I’m an idiot. :hatsoff:

Definitely. Having power or feeling powerful can make someone corrupt. Its been seen in history time and time again and its no coincidence that theres a relationship. Having a gun makes u feel powerful and having that sense of power can corrupt some people.

Christianity has their own violence as well like the Crusades. But in recent times, i would argue that Christians are typically non-violent.

You have to be aware of who is wearing the suit to serve their own ends.  Just because you claim to be someone doesn’t mean you are.  People use religion (and all manner of things) to justify their fucked up desires.

You gotta read what Jesus says,... just that will calibrate your bullshit meter and you’ll begin seeing who is legit and who is full of shit.  Humans seem to be natural bullshit artists.

Look at police officers, how many of them are full of shit, not abiding by the set of rules they claim to represent?

I think true understanding extends further than the understanding provided by the abrahamic religions. They are all describing the same "god"

It all comes down to the illusion of separateness. In the end it's all energy and it can only transfer. Think about the billions of years before our sun dies and engulfs the solar system.

Christianity is a rip off, word for word at many points, of countless religions before it, that was long ago corrupted and re-designed to give more control to those in power. It gives people an out for ignorance and believing stupid things, based off of sketchily translated and interpreted (likely with bias) stories written by some dude(s?), based upon myths of horus and other ancient fairy tales that 'jesus' was modeled upon. It teaches people that the real reward comes after you die, making this life on earth seem trivial. If you want the feel good vibes of jesus, there are far more interesting and unique religions and/or philosophers to study.

Give humans an easy way to do stupid shit, and stupid shit will be done. Guns are that easy way. That doesn't necessarily mean they should be made illegal, but trying to make-believe your way out of a problem is futile.

Messages of love don't translate to sociopaths and people with their hands over their ears.
