I never heard any of that in my life.

But I’m educated at a Bachelors level and have over six years experience as a mental health tech and TSS.

Specifically really good at working with emotional support students typically with a dual diagnosis of autism.

And I find all that really not true when thinking about the cases I worked with.

I saw that way of talking about it like twice when you look up aspergers in men. On an online post. I think it came from some UK doctor. I had never heard it before then when looking around tbh. I just thought it was a little prominent in describing. But also a newer way or something. I don’t believe it tho.

Interesting you are in the field, Interesting stuff indeed. :smile: how do/did you like it? I could never work in the mental health field, I’m more likely to be the patient than caretaker haha

I enjoy working in the field very much.

I prefer working with mental health and emotional support  over autism though.

I’m really good at the “processing” process with kids that have aggressive or self injurious tendencies. Once my girls are a little older I’m hoping to finish graduate school and become a LCSW with my ABA certification.
