Found growing in empty jar

About 3 weeks ago I emptied a jar of grain spawn. I put the lid on, put it aside, and forgot to wash it. Today I found the jar and was compelled to give it a sniff. A close look inside uncovered this little guy seemingly growing out of glass. Maybe such a sight is common (I am very new to this), but I thought sharing was worthwhile. :smile:
