Cedar wood chips for cultivation of ovoids?

I currently have a bunch of colonized woodchips buried underneath sterilized cedar wood chips and am wondering if this wood is not optimal or completely useless for the outdoor cultivation of psilocybe ovoideocystidiata

I have searched through about 20 different ovoid threads and the only thing I have found about the type of wood is that pine is unusable. I am terribly sorry if this has been asked before.

Nah no good. You want some good hardwoods. Oak, maples and stuff
