Lookin' for some San Pedro
    #2598091 - 04/24/04 03:02 PM (13 years, 4 days ago)

Today I'm gonna go out and look for some San Pedro, but I've got some questions first.

Is it easy to get it confused with other cacti? I've looked at a lot of pictures of the San Pedro, but are there any other cacti that look like it?

Will it be easy to find? I mean, will they sell it at Target or Wal-Mart?

And how much does it cost? I figure since it's not illegal I should be able to ask the price. It costs about $30 for 12" online, is that how much it costs retail?

Thanks in advance!

Probably would help if you posted this in Ethnobotanical Garden instead of ODD.

Similar cacti like Mytillo's that aren't too blue and cereus cacti are often mistaken for San Pedros by people who aren't very familiar with the nuances of pedros.

Look at a bunch of pictures and compare them to other pictures of myrtillo's and cereus.

Oh yeah i'm moving this to EG.

The Home Depot by me has San Pedros. But I live in the Sonoran Desert. Try and look in the yellow pages for cactus nurserys.

No, not at all. They are all over my yard and in my pool breeding during the monsoon season.

Yes, I have smoked it on numerous occasions. It is definetely an interesting experience. What do you want to know about it?
