Walmart Inoculation Loops

Hi , just was out supply shopping at a canadian walmart and came across this while i was looking for a scalpel.



Basically a pre made inoculation loop.

Only draw back is its like 4 inches long, but you could extend it if you wanted. more length, but being shorter would allow more control.

Just sharing!

id imagine so for cloning ,
but when you make transfers do you just scrape the part you want to transfer
or like shave a piece out with the loop?

I still use my exacto knife for transfers, so I can get a clean cut and my shaky hands won't drop it trying to scoop it like a spoon.

I like to poke my agar just enough so it holds on the end of my blade and comes off easy on a new plate.
