SE Asian mushroom type
    #25960018 -

Hi all

I was hoping to get some help identifying a mushroom I found on a small very strict SE Asian island. All mushrooms pictured are from the same patch. There is also the spore print in the picture.

Habitat- found on rotten wood clippings after a few days rain by the side of the road

Gills - they are dark orange and appear to be free.

Stem - narrow and springy/squishes but feels robust and solid.

Cap - lighter than underneath a white ish orange.

Spore print - brown with an orange tone.

Bruising - a dark green to black.

Smell - earthy not unlike regular shop bought mushrooms

Location SE Asia near Malaysia

This is my first post so any help or advice would be great. The photos don’t quite do the colours justice if more would be helpful please let me know.

Not active sorry. Look up paneolous cyanecese as well as the psilocybin variety that grows on wood rather than poo like the first. Look up psilocybin cubensis as well along with subs and ovoid. One if not all grow near you

Edit: don't toss them and wait for a TI.... They kind of look like gyms even though they don't look active.  It's a cool find and if it could be dried and sent to a database for cataloging that would be cool as there's lots of interest in the gymp. mushroom species

Edit 2: Actually I might see some blue in the top right 2 on the left in the 1st pic. It might be active though I don't think enough to trip. Maybe enough to feel it. Again don't eat it and wait for someone with the trusted identifier tag under their profile avatar

Looks like pholiota to me, close up clear shots of the cap, gills and stem are needed for a more accurate identification, natural lights best.

Hi both

Thanks for the advice and tips I’ve included  better photos bellow just to see if they can be identified but no worries if not as I saw what I’m fairly certain were big laughing gyms whilst out yesterday. I’ll post them up one I’ve got them.

The color has changed slight since being picked as they have darkened and look less fresh.

Tubaria sp., looks close to T. furfuracea.
