The original pulls were freeze precipitated and threw away after all I got was oil. I know the oil is dmt but I was after crystals. It wasn't much oil either it was such a small amount it was disappointing. I think it was just not concentrated enough (didn't know this then) an that's why I didn't get any crystals during the precip. If you hadn't noticed I'm rather a noob at this, and pineninja its 100% fine I in no way hold you accountable in any capacity. Live and learn I guess.  Hoping for better luck next time. Gonna be using willy Mycos STB tek.

I've said like 5 times evap the naptha you used to pull if you have it still as you likely have tons in it.... Also use the Q22Q21 that actually explains what you're doing and not just how to do it

Dawwg da most important step is how well u pull dashit. Wen u add da naptha to da freebase u gotta mix dashit up good. I use a magnetic stir, dashit get my yields on fleak.

I looked at the nature boy tek and I'll probably favor it more just because the extra time it allows to break down the plant material with the basified mixture. Looks pretty much the same as Willys tek other than that I think he only allows it to sit for like an hour or so. I'm only going to have 75 grams of mhrb tho and want to do it all in one extraction. Willys calls for 50 grams of mhrb and the nature boy tek calls for 100. So would I just change the the 100 grams of lye to 75 to keep it at a 1/1 ratio and not change the water?

The lye-to-water ratio is important, not the lye-to-bark ratio.

Don't change the water nor the lye, just the ammount of bark.

Q21q21.... I've pulled clean white grams within a day while using food safe ingredients. If not his trek the big lazy AB for large batches. The only two guides ever needed while the old handbook pdf helps a lot too

I've pulled over a week letting it sit for a day or 2 at a time and mixing every few hours after work/before bed. Last batch was 1.8 gram from 100 gram of bark.

So basically, I just don't change anything but the amount of bark and leave the water and lye the same? Cool, Seems easy enough... And I envy you tyrannical Rex, so that was the first pull you waited a week before pulling and got all that! Wowzers that seems like a lot for 100 grams, but I think it varies a lot depending on where you source it. The mimosa I got this time is supposed to be the best they had at the vendor I used. Hopefully I can get over a gram then if you can get that.

I did the first pull after a 24 hour soak. Then every other day or so after that, but I always wait 24 hours at least.

It's good advice.

I have left soup I thought was exhausted, came back a month later and grabbed another 300mg. (200g material)

Then again if I pressure cook the fk out of it I'll get almost all in the first 2 pulls on the same day it was cooked.

Yes, I let my np solvent stay in there for several hours, too.
Usually, I let stand overnight, make one pull in the morning, fill in new naphtha, the next pull in the evening, and go ahead the next morning and so on. 3 days and I'm done.

I know you said it once already pandemoon but just to be clear and to give me peace of mind. In this tek here I don't change anything but the bark. I know it's probably aggravating my apologies.

An I'm intrigued about the pressure cooking northerner I haven't heard of anyone doing this yet. They insist that you vent the jar to release the pressure but those ball Mason's can stand a lot of heat and pressure so I don't think it's that dangerous myself.

I probably won't do that tho just to be on the safe side. Really wanna get it right this time around.

Yes, just change the ammount of bark.
The water to lye -ratio determins the pH of the solution. This should be always the same. Don't change the ammount of lye if you don't change the ammount of water.

The ammount of water is dependent on the ammount of bark, though. You have to use enough water to completly cover and soak the bark in water yet still have enough room to stirr and let the bark float well in the solution.
You cannot add too much water, but too little water. If you use too little the bark will soak and expand and then be unable to move around in the jar. This is bad. Just use enough water to allow the barkmaterial to float easily, and a bit more.

If 600ml is enough water for 100g of bark, then it's more than enough for a lesser ammount of bark. I wouldn't change anything. It's better to have too much water than too little. Just put in the bark and go ahead.

This really put me at ease pandemoon, I was over here thinking the bark would mess up the PH or something. The whole reason I thought the bark had to be at a 1/1 ratio is because willy myco says that in his video he has out he also refers to the lye as being an acid.

Not gonna be getting anymore information from him as he doesn't seem to know what he's talking about lol. My bark should be here sometime this week I ordered it last Tuesday. I'll make a new thread then I can't wait. Thanks guys

1st time I ever did an stb tek it was nature boys, I've never used another one. My sig shows the results.(not the 1st one, but I've never used another tek) I've never tried an A/B extraction. No need for me.

Yeah tyrannical that looks sick I can see why you wouldn't use anything else.. That's a pretty MDMA rock to if only I could figure out how to make one of those. Ilol I'll probably get into some other stuff once I get this down, maybe I'll do a San Pedro extraction next.
