Banks, not credit cards

That’s why you should always pay with credit cards. If someone steals your card it’s the banks money on the line, not yours.

I’d threaten going to the cops to get your money back. I’m sure they would rather pay a few hundred then fight it in court. I was at a club and bought a drink the next morning my bank account was drained. Literally spent 25$ and woke up with 600$ missing. My friend worked there and called and talked to the manager and basically said I know you put the whole tab on my card I want my money. They gave my friend the money and he gave it back to me. I guess a buncha people walked off without paying so the dumb server put it on my bill cuz they didn’t know what to do. The stupidity of that server was troubling and lucky it was me and not some total asshole.

Just call the cops.  He'll get a record and regret it for a long time.  You're in the US, getting a record is pretty much game over for him, the system won't allow him to amount to anything in life.

I know that wasnt towards me but I feel it was :notsureif: anyway I have never been to jail. I also didnt say how much violence. you wouldnt need much in this situation. just enough to get your money(or moneys worth) back :shrug:

Had it happen to my business card.

5 transactions at the same petrol station.

I had to go fill out a police report and whilst I was sitting there i said to the cop....fair chance of catching them when their might would be on camera 5 times....

He looked at me and smiled.

The banks write this off as an automatic loss and factor it in the their profit loss expectations.

Itll get worse.before it gets better(cc theft) and the stats dont lie.
If.you fo down the path and find there.is few repercussions what's to stop you.
