ID New Zealand Mushrooms
    #25938722 -

I went on a walk with my friends in a pine forest near Wellington and found some mushrooms. Since this is my first time going mushroom hunting and I'm quite new to the mushroom world I would like you guys to help me to identify them.

This is the first kind :

The second kind (unfortunately my mate broke the stem)

I haven't picked many of them just because I'm not sure that they are the right kind.
Thank you in advance for any answer

None of them are psilocbyin mushrooms if that's what you're after. Try looking for Psilocybe subaeruginosa in mulch/woodchips and Psilocybe weraroa in native bush. You can find P. subaeruginosa in pine forests but they'll be harder to find than in woodchips.

Check out the NZ psilocybin mushroom threads from years gone by and you'll get a good idea what they look like. Blue bruising and purple-brown spore print are great indicators. Feel free to make as many ID request threads as you want until you can comfortably ID them yourself, just keep the ID requests off of any official psilocybin mushroom threads. Good luck!

If you're in wellington dont bother trying to find subs in a pine forest, you might find them but very sparse, it wont be worth all the time and effort. You need to be focusing on urban woodchip developments with a healthy amount of chips present, over 1 year old usually. You could also talk to someone in wellington about finding weraroa, they grow in native bush aswell as woodchip beds.
