seems to be a mycena of some sort.

Please do a spore print and write us a description. Otherwise, we're just guessing on mushrooms that more or less look like that.

Based on what I can see, it's an LBM.

I found this mushroom amungst cedar trees and around many varieties of moss. It was poking up from years past cedar tree needles... What are some of the specifics that would make it an LBM?

LBM just stands for a little brown mushroom.

LBM is a "little brown mushroom" so guess what the specifics are :grin:  It's a generic term for mushrooms that look like that and there are tons of them.  Read the sticky thread at the top of the hunting forum if you want it ID'd but I can tell you now it's not active.
