They got arms and then on a chunk of brf cake it’s fuzzy with no rhizomorphs. If I’m saying that right. Thanks for any help.

Top looks good. Bottom looks like mold. Nothing there looks like cobweb tho

Hey man that is definitely something along the lines of cobweb.
There MAY be ways to beat it now (wishful thinking) but nothing beats it like finding out how to avoid it alltogether,next time. I just lost a few items to this similar "fluff" you can smell more of a soil smell than a mushrooms smell with this type of invader,I'm in no way experienced enough to say for sure but it happens to us all who get too comfy. I may be absolutely wrong but there may be a certain peroxide-water ratio for misting this junk away for good, either way cheers and happy hobby!

Definitely not cobweb, top picture looks fine to me. Bottom picture is most likely a kind of white mold, definitely move it away from your other brf cakes in case it drops spores and ruins all your efforts. I wouldnt bother with any "tricks" to try and save it. In my view its best to just try again, and make some guesses to what happened so i can better avoid repeating it in the future.

Edit: This is cobweb, just so you know, whispy and normally spreads over the entire surface in a day or two

Good to know because I have 4 other small sub mixes so I’ll keep my fingers crossed. I figured the opposite would happen. That’s why u take an turn to the professionals! And it’s underground now I read all about the peroxide tricks and I’m with you. If it was multiple cakes I think I’d try something. The last two pics I just opened for the first time the others I’ve been messing with, fanning adding a little water. But these last ones held their moisture and stayed a little cooler. I’m shocked if they are healthy. I cut up a cake that was only half colonized to experiment with. I thought I was going to have to give everything to someone to finish, I was worried about privacy. That’s the only reason I did it else I would have been patient. So I experimented and split up that quarter pint into all this.

Thank you I did notice this. The invitro attempt did only smell earthy. I smell mushroom faintly on the others
