Michigan hunting

Does anyone know where on Michigan Shrooms grow? Places like parks or forests.

There are not a lot of active species that grow in Michigan, I had never found any.  Gyms grow on logs and chip  Libs grow in pasture and I guess they grow there.  As far as just getting “shrooms” goes you would probably spend a lot less gas time and money learning to grow, but that takes patience too.
Michigan does grow morel pretty good, that may be one of the best things you can find in the woods.  Look in and around aspen stands, and later look around the base of ash trees when everything but them is leafed out, if there’s any ash left any more.

Mushrooms grow all over Michigan.  They grow in the woods, fields, towns, cities, parks, and lake shores.

Check out the link in my signature,  scroll down to Michigan and all the shrooms listed have been found in the state. Research what you are looking looking for, then go hunt, no one can tell you where to go for obvious reasons.
