Lion's Mane infection

Hey everyone.
I've been trying to grow some lions mane. I've grown some other mushrooms, so I'm not a complete noob, but I haven't grown lions mane specifically before, also my experience is mostly limited to pftek.
I made some grain spawn from oats. I inoculated them straight from syringe (I haven't tried agar work yet). I've left the grain jars for about 3-4 weeks until I saw pins appear.
I then made supplemented saw dust blocks with mycobag (wheat bran + oak fuel blocks). Tbh, I made these blocks a bit too wet (if I squeeze on it several drops of water come out).
After that I inoculated the blocks with my grain inside a simple SAB. I actually felt some slight funky smell from my grains, but figured it might just be metabolites. After about ~3 weeks I saw pinning again and placed the bags inside SGFC.
At first everything seemed fine, the mushrooms started appearing pure white. After a week or so I started feeling a funky smell again, especially if I haven't fanned the box in a while (12h or so). The smell would go away after fanning. Anyways, I found some pins rotting inside the bag where I didn't make holes for them (and due to my blocks being too wet), so I figured the smell is coming from them and got rid of those pins.
Unfortunately, my mushrooms have started getting a yellowish/ brownish tint to them. Is this an indication of some king of infection or did I overmist them? I heard that lions mane can discolor when missed directly.

I have read that lions mane is prone to bruising and that the bruising can lead to bCterial. Blotch. I am still working on colonization of my lions mane. Congrats!

I was very careful to be physically soft with the bags, so I'm not sure if this is due to rough handling.
I've found people saying to be careful when misting Lion's Mane and not to mist them directly. Unfortunately I found this tip only after my fruits started browning. Now I make sure to remove the bags from the SGFC, mist it thoroughly and only return the bags after a minute or two when everything has settled.
I actually removed one of the brown fruits few moments ago. The base of it was rotten (grayish color, mushy texture, foul smell), but the fruit further down seemed fine, just a bit brown.
Another thing I noticed today is that the fruits right next to perlite seem to be a lot healthier looking (pure white with elongating fingers). Can this browning be a consequence of low humidity? I haven't had a chance to test the humidity, but will do so tomorrow after I get a hygrometer.

I remember one of Myers mushroom videos (gr0wer on shroomery). That said lion's mane does that when they get wet. I would raise the humidity and stop misting. He had a low-pressure mist in his room and he had to put up plastic to keep them from getting any mist on them.
