This has probably been asked before whats you favourite...

Dead show and dead song?  My favourite dead song, (well I have gotten to like many), but my favourite dead song is Darkstar... I also like Peggy-O, He's gone (their slow melancholic stuff ... its so chilled and I love singing along with it), as well as as their very fast happy stuff like Promised Land...etc.  But my favourite so far is Darkstar... bea-u-tiful :thumbup:

Favourite show, well I only have two so far and I'm downloading The Shroomery Picks vol. 2... but I have 77-05-25 and 77-05-08, I like 05-08 better in some ways, well, no actually it just depends on the mood.

I'm listening to the 3rd cd of 77-05-08, and I've never heard it like this before, it sounds new somehow, refreshingly synergizing with the sunshiny weather.

I can't really say... it really varies from day to day, depending upon the weather, what I have to do, and my mood.

The closest I can come to is my favorite Jerry Garcia Band song and show, because I don't listen to the JGB enough to have this preference change everyday. I'd say my fav song by them is Ruben and Cherise, and my favorite show is the one at Oregon State Prison (I think in 82 but maybe I'm completly wrong).

Right now, my favorite song by the Dead is Terrapin Station... no wait Tennessee Jed... or actually I think it is Eyes of the World right now. Yep. That's gotta be it, the sun was shining all day long and I was dancing to class listening to it.

Listen to the Eyes of the World that is the first track of the third CD of that show you were listening to (Eyes > Drumz > Wharf Rat)... that's what I was dancing to today :grin:

Hmmm...kay... I think there is something about the dead where you just cant keep a favourite song for too long.  I put on dark star mp3 today, it was good, but to the middle of the song I was thinking, nahhhh... and clicked on Half Step :lol:

this is a trick question... since a true dead head could never really pick a 'favorite' i mean think of it, can you honestly say thier is 1 song better than all the rest? NO, you cant!.

but my current favorite is 69-03-02 set 1 :grin:

I always sing to that one! I was rowing a boat around the local fjord yesterday under a clear blue spring sky singing brown eyed woman out loud while listening to it.

"CROSS the RIO GRANDIO! Cross the lazy river..." I know its not BEW but I'm listening to this one now... forgot its name though.
