Checking in on my first fruit.

First time grow, so far things have been good (Im thinking), had a few odd questions and had things happened that I didn't expect. But your just never sure of anything the first time thru.
Basics:
1. 12 BRF jars
2. Penis Envy (realize this isn't their preferred way to grow but seemed like a easier way to get my feet wet)
3. Chamber floating in chamber with heated water.
4. Inoculation was done and colonized with no issues. Was unsure on contamination during the last few days but thinking I was prematurely worried.
5. Full 20 hr dunk in fridge and rolled in Vermiculite
6. 2 inches of damp perlite under cakes in fruiting chamber
7. each cake on foil
8. 12 hours light and air pump turns on for 30 mins 3 times a day
9. Didn't see any pins in first week only saw a little mycil growth.
10. Switched to Mist/fan daily, reduced air pump to twice a day 1 for 15 mins other for 30mins
11. started seeing pins on Monday after leaving them alone for 2 days (1.5 weeks from dunk)
12. have checked to watch progress everyday or two. Did some misting and fanning a couple times since then and added some water to the perlite like 1/2 cup ish.

I just want to check in get some thoughts and feed back. make sure everything still looks alright. There's a few strange looking dongs.

Do I have anything to worry about to just keep going and experience the first time?

Number 3 I would do away with the incubator unless it stays colder than 65 in you house.
What kind of fruiting chamber are you using? Sounds like your doing more than u need too.

Seriously sounds like you're making this way more complicated than you need to be. Steps 3, 8 (air pump), 10 (misting and fanning and an air pump?) seem like you're working way harder than you should need to, or just adding extra steps? 

Good luck with this all. I recommend using Bod's teks and reading those over. Simplify it all!

im uploading some pictures right now. Really hasn't seemed to hard to this point. I bought a grow kit so im just using the stuff that came with it.

Fruits look good but I’d definitely get it out of the warm water unless it’s cold as fuck. Other than that I would get rid of the air pump and turn it into a shotgun fruiting chamber so it gets all the air it needs on its own. Looks like the kits working ok and will probably grow but there’s better ways of doing things. Good luck to you:mushroom2:

Yea, my room is in the basement it gets below 60 inches easily. Space heater works good for me but wasn’t warm enough in their cabinet. I def like the idea of the shoebox or shotgun for the next try. This was easy to learn and was supposed to be hard to screw up so I’m happy with the experience.
