everything I listed, can be stored on or in a hiker's backpack.

think it as if you are going to hike the Appalachian trail and then into canada, or westward to the coast.

it's similar to being a marine. be able to carry your gear and another human being on your back while you're running from bullets.

keep the weight in the range of your own body weight, or less.

the weak will die. the strong have a fighting chance

I'm not like an expert on off grid warzone living, just to make a point...

i came up with that list off the top of my head.

okay so, hypothetically speaking... the government collapsed and there is essentially complete anarchy. you have to go far away from people. gangs will steal, rape, pillage, kill... all electronic currency is void. mass panicking and looting. all nuclear power plants are going to hit critical mass heat and poison the sorrounding countless miles of land.  not to mention the military strikes and foregin/ domestic nuclear weapons.  most fresh water is going to be contaminated. likely there will be a rise in viral disease and tainted plants and animals.

not to mention the fact that the remaining balance of domestic military, that will be trying to retain the order to the country.

these things result in FEMA type concentration camps... and im only talking about the US.  mass suicide, mass chemical death from pharmaceutical indepence. most places will be uninhabitable to be remotely close to. by human force, radiation, fire, etc..

plus the possibility of non-domestic military forces...

it's all very realistic and possible when civil unrest becomes a problem, which inturn is a beacon of weakness to other world powers.

because American is a huge land of lucrative natural resources for the taking. russia, china, etc. that's a gold mine to take.

but let's be rational and not think that  maybe every empire has been destroyed for the entire course of human history. hahaha yeah we're going to be fine. totes.

You have a ton of ideas and I hardly have time to break them all down, but yes.


Crypto-currency would be dead dead. SO would paper or coin currency. The only currency that might actually hold would be gold, silver, or jewels. But over time, even those would be worthless.

Also, about the nuclear plant thing. They would not hit critical mass most likely,, they would have a safety shutdown.

For everyone who may be concerned with the future just know there are many places where you can buy arable land for as cheap as $5000 in the US and with current technology it is relatively easy to establish an offgrid home that acquires power from solar/wind as well as water from rain catchment. Establishing complete self-sustainability when it comes to food is slightly more difficult, but could be done. Complete self-sustainability could be achieved with less money than it costs to buy a new car.
