We've got another nuclear cold war brewing with Russia, giant ice caps with huge holes in them that if they break loose will raise the ocean by 10 meters, pollution almost beyond repair( and not slowing down) ....The ocean are fucked beyond belief, massive political and social unrest in all countries.

WELL HOT DAMN.

I need to invest in my "bug out kit" with gas masks and bullet proof vests and secret caches of canned sardines and ammunition...

And sex toys. We all know everyone's going to be stressed out in the apocalypse and sex toys will be worth more than gold.

I don't think Russia will use nukes again.  I read online  they did in 1983 on Israel.  Most were shot down if true.

I think Russia or anybody would pay dearly from God if they use WMD's.  God loves karma!

Nukes are just a red herring imo. It'd be more devastating to wreck the power grid than it would be to drop a nuke. Regardless of what you're worried about though making sure your ass isn't flapping in the breeze like everybody else when problems strike is smart. I can't remember what I was reading but iirc the average american household only has enough food to last a week. Any food storage and water storage that would last you a few months would put you way ahead of the curve in that regard. Millions would probably be dead before you've even run out of food.

Honestly though while I fully advocate disaster preparedness I don't think you should be so rushed into it that you allocate money to it that needed to go somewhere else (such as rent or other bills). Just make it a habit to buy more than you need each week when you go to the store so your stockpile builds naturally. An emphasis on the "fishing rod" rather than just the "fish" is also wise. In other words consider water filtration instead of solely stock piling water, maybe grow your own food on the side like potatoes and stuff, etc.

Yeah I was looking at bullproof level 3 tactical vests. $300 for a really good one that will stop a desert eagel 50 cal..... Level 4 plate inset for an additional $120. will stop a 30 odd 6 point blank.

What you're preparing for seems to be more in the vein of trench warfare than nuclear apocalypse. If the nukes drop, I don't know that bullet proof vests would be too useful. The conflict would be over in a few days at most, there wouldn't be much time to gas inhabitants or invade with foot soldiers.

It’s a clear sign of moral decline and people are being murdered without protest flowie.  I don’t know who you like to have as neighbors but I personally like ones with at least a basic understanding of principle, the will to be truth and an ability to be accountable for ones own actions.  Anything less and it just leads to fuckin burden..and I’m pretty tired to be honest.

It’s a part of the abortion bill that just got passed in New York and is getting pushed in Virginia.

This isn’t a normal first and second trimester abortion.  This allows for abortion up to the point of birth and after.  It’s fucked up.

What do you expect when it seems like "they" are trying to overturn roe v wade? I wouldn't be where I am today had I not been through an abortion with a girl (3 that I know of from others). Mutual agreement (for all of them) with both sides parents. They all knew it was a bad idea to try and make me help raise a child with them (or not) once they really thought about it. I THINK I went  thru an abortion with a girl.  It resulted in 2 trespassing charges and a posession of mj minor offense.

travel light, trust nobody, don't waste resources. learn to kill. nothing is safe. purify water, rather than carrying it around in bulk. never miss a target.

illicit drugs for strength/ endurance/ pain control. epinephrine, abuterol, antihistamines, alcohol. narcotics, SALT. iorn b vitamins. specifically b12 and naicin.
iodine, potassium, zinc, copper, absorbic acid, milk thistle... since you are probably going to get poisoning eventually, calcium,  antimicrobial copper rods to keep from getting sickness easy.

portable chargers, solar whatever, lithium batteries to charge....  several boiling pots.

waterproof fucking everything.

guns ammo, explosives, slingshot, compound/cross bow.  machete, knives and a sharp iorn to make them last. a spade because you will dig alot. Ghieger counter. some way to detect radiation. a small siginal jammer /EMP.

learn sewing and tayloring, know how to make fabric, because you will need it. blanket/ sheet/ tarp/ needles.... lots of sewing supplies. fishing line, durable thread....

hypodermic syringes, butane, some kindlong lasting solvent for fires.

paper currency. just in case you can trade it for shit.


never be naked. never be unaware of your surroundings for a 5 mile radius.

oh yeah, be prepared to do amputation for apendeges, cut off a finger you can't save to prevent MRSA.

everything I listed, can be stored on or in a hiker's backpack.

think it as if you are going to hike the Appalachian trail and then into canada, or westward to the coast.

it's similar to being a marine. be able to carry your gear and another human being on your back while you're running from bullets.

keep the weight in the range of your own body weight, or less.

I'm not like an expert on off grid warzone living, just to make a point...

i came up with that list off the top of my head.

okay so, hypothetically speaking... the government collapsed and there is essentially complete anarchy. you have to go far away from people. gangs will steal, rape, pillage, kill... all electronic currency is void. mass panicking and looting. all nuclear power plants are going to hit critical mass heat and poison the sorrounding countless miles of land.  not to mention the military strikes and foregin/ domestic nuclear weapons.  most fresh water is going to be contaminated. likely there will be a rise in viral disease and tainted plants and animals.

not to mention the fact that the remaining balance of domestic military, that will be trying to retain the order to the country.

these things result in FEMA type concentration camps... and im only talking about the US.  mass suicide, mass chemical death from pharmaceutical indepence. most places will be uninhabitable to be remotely close to. by human force, radiation, fire, etc..

plus the possibility of non-domestic military forces...

it's all very realistic and possible when civil unrest becomes a problem, which inturn is a beacon of weakness to other world powers.

because American is a huge land of lucrative natural resources for the taking. russia, china, etc. that's a gold mine to take.

but let's be rational and not think that  maybe every empire has been destroyed for the entire course of human history. hahaha yeah we're going to be fine. totes.

You have a ton of ideas and I hardly have time to break them all down, but yes.


Crypto-currency would be dead dead. SO would paper or coin currency. The only currency that might actually hold would be gold, silver, or jewels. But over time, even those would be worthless.

Also, about the nuclear plant thing. They would not hit critical mass most likely,, they would have a safety shutdown.

For everyone who may be concerned with the future just know there are many places where you can buy arable land for as cheap as $5000 in the US and with current technology it is relatively easy to establish an offgrid home that acquires power from solar/wind as well as water from rain catchment. Establishing complete self-sustainability when it comes to food is slightly more difficult, but could be done. Complete self-sustainability could be achieved with less money than it costs to buy a new car.
