A lot of us americans have British blood flowing through are veins. Keep in mind that the United states is a western country. It's basically a extension of Europe. Americans are a little more wild and take more risks. For an example most British women will tell you that American men approach them more often than the ones in their home country. American men love shooting big guns, driving around in big trucks and fast cars lol.. We're the ones that left your country because we hate being told what do do. American law's are a little better in my opinion. A lot of are states are legalizing marijuana and a couple are trying to legalize mushrooms:). I cant see your country doing that anytime soon.  We're crazy :smile:..

that' be like saying a lot of americans have german or irish blood, 46 of our presidents have been irish or protestant

you have like 12 percent black 17 percent hispanic
and then "white"
but that white is extremely mixed up with italian, middle eastern, polish
then you have like 5% asian 1 percent indian..

62 percent of European Americans today are either wholly or partly of English, Welsh, Irish, or Scottish ancestry. I wasn't saying that we're 100% British! Even the whites in Britain are only 60% because they were invaded so much in the past. 32% of my DNA is from his area. Hes probably around 60% so that's extremely similar DNA! The stereotype is that they're uppity boring drunks with a really bad sense of humor, bad teeth, small cocks, and some of the worst food. Also inbreeding comes to mind because of the small island and royalty in that region. Most British people that I have met have been pretty cool and the pubs there seem kind of cool.

I find that their accent is really annoying, but chicks probably like it.

I'm not american but i think the English just over regulate everything. you make people have a license to own a dog then you wonder why people hold onto the idea of you being tyrannical. and English accents irritate me kinda. really goofy working class accents are funny though.  I have alot of Scottish in me and I really like Scotland my Scottish identity. well whats left of it after you took away our language and much of our culture anyway :wink: jk.

shrink your government a bit and look over the amendments to the us constitution, maybe you could learn a thing or two. like amendments one and two for example. its time to join us in the present day. you still have a monarchy (which you for some reason still impose on your former colonies) and you weigh things in stones for crying out loud. what the hell kinda antiquated country are you people running over there? "transported beyond the seas" lol what kind of legal repercussion is that? was it between being exiled and drawn and quartered? thats some old ass policy you got there. 


a guy who goes by "count dankula" was fined 800 pounds for teaching his girlfriend's pug to nazi salute. people get in trouble and even arrested for online posts that are deemed "grossly offensive". thats not what i would call freedom.

my country is pretty bad for over regulation too but not as bad. once i was stopped by 5 cop cars for walking down the street with a hatchet after axe throwing one night (i got  ride there so i had no backpack) i explained why i had it and they quickly sent me on my way, no problem. they just said save yourself the trouble and bring a backpack next time. in the uk they have tightened up knife laws to crazy levels. forget about guns for a sec, they are going after knives.

i like some British tv and stuff though and there is alot of cool stuff there. and going to Scotland was my favourite vacation and im definitely going back. and props for leaving the EU.

i have an overall positive view but i have some issues.

I think the accent can be obnoxious and especially with all of the slang they use. Also the food isn’t that great is it?

What I actually think? I think the heavy accent is really annoying. So much so that whenever I watch a YouTube video with someone with a British accent, I immediately turn it off. Other than that I think British people are just like us and I feel like I could go to Britain and fit in just fine. Like your culture is pretty much equivalent to ours and I feel the same way about Australia even though I've never been to either country.

do you have accent envy? everyone in America sounds exactly the same, it must get pretty tiresome
