So I applied to the University of British Columbia...

Well, my plan is to study in Copenhagen - but I have to pass a language exam before they will accept me. So, just to keep my options open and such, I applied to UBC in Vancouver...I left American high-school after my junior year, but then got a Baccalaureate after studying for 2 years in Norway... I'm starting to get tired of just sitting on my ass and working all the time, so it's back to school for me, next fall! Anybody go there/been there? Would you recommend it? I'd be studying anthropology (probably minoring in economics as well)... Is the school nice, though? And the city? I've yet to visit BC - my only excursions into Canada have been Ontario and Quebec, but they seem like nice enough places.

BC is cool. vancover is a nice town, big asian population there, so lots of chinese food. whistler isn't too far away, great bud, very scenic. nice.

I also applied to ubc but got rejected, and ended up in university of toronto. ubc from what I have seen is a beautifulk school. it has a beautiful campus. you made the right choice. hope you get accepted. vancouver and generally bc is a great area with great natural beauty. and the most relaxed place for  :rastamon:

very cool place. i love driving around the campus. my sister goes tehre and loves it.
