You can deep fry cubes in 400f oil. Put them on pizza at 425 and ive boiled mine for an hour before.

All works still.

Also boiling water doesn't have any oxygen dissolved in it :derfase:

I boiled mine for 20 minutes before just fine, but didn't ever try and cook down a mushaya brew with them. :grin:

Yup.  Super quick come up too, which I like.

OP, when i make tea I don't boil them for even 1 second.  I boil water, turn the water off, then drop the shrooms in the hot water.  Let them marinate for about 10-15 mins and then strain and repeat one more time.  And I use about 1 cup of water for every 5 grams of dried shrooms.

I don't know much of the properties of shrooms.  I've read various alkaloids.  The two active ones that we speak of.  One breaks down easily, that's the active one.  The other breaks down into it in the body and the active one is excreted whole largely unchanged.  A friend who's passed now, was willing to drink my urine.  He never did but he was pretty into the idea of that.

I'd doubt boiling does much to psyclocbin.  But pscylocin would break down easily.  Seems more volatile.

It has nothing to do with boiling. Once the goodies are in solution they only last a few hours to a day or two if ou keep it in the dark.

I've always have had a super hard time making tea. Apparently I've been getting the water too hot.

It's to the point where I wont make it because I just waste my shrooms. Just gotten eat them boys

Unless your water is around I think it's 300 degrees its not to hot, im sure bod will mention the temp the alkaloids break down at

Cronicr pressure cooked shrooms at 250F
You can deep fry them in hot oil
They can go on pizza at 425F
You can boil them at 212 for at least an hour

Hey man, is there some sort of chart or number assigned to each chemical that represents it’s stability?  I was wondering how mushrooms compare to cacti and others..

Check out pubchem.com they have deomcposition and boiling points and all sorts of stuff like that

That's what my shroom guy said too, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but my first 5 trips were all tea and maaaaaybe got me to a level 2. Same with my wife. They ranged from 1.5g - 3.5g and all felt very similar, pretty underwhelming.

We both gave up on tea quite a long time ago and just eat them now. Eating them has always produced MUCH greater results for us. I wish I could make a good tea. I follow the recipes and people talk about it like it's easy but I can't get it to work. Sucks because sometimes I don't want to set aside a whole day to trip.
