Spinach,  mushroom,  onion and garlic is pretty solid with feta too! Or goat cheese added with the mozzarella

Yeah... that's what I thought, until my co worker convinced me to buy a slice from QT.

QT has some of the best pizza ever for the price. They had/have a promo for XL pizza and 2 liter of coke for 7.99

Sad when gas station pizza is better the pizza hut and dominoes.

There's a great local pizza joint here that has some delicious house made garlic cream sauce, and they make "moonshine sauce" which is basically the cream sauce + habenero hot sauce :drooling:

I get a few of both as well as some red sauce and mix them all together, it's dangerously good :uhoh:

When it comes to home made pizza one of my favorites is mixing in a bit of BBQ sauce with the pizza sauce, or you can use a lot for a full on BBQ pizza. But I like it best blended it not too sweet.

Damn now I want more pizza :shakefist:

I firmly believe there isn't a wrong way to do pizza, you just throw ingredients you like in the oven and it always comes out awesome!

I fucking love mushrooms on pizza.  I love them anyway and by themselves of course, but mushrooms on red or white or pesto based pizza are so delightful. I love spicy hot with many foods but pizza doesn't need capsaicin to be enjoyable.

I think the way we share slices from pizza adds to some sort of communal effect, beyond what dining with friends and loved ones always gives.  Something on the level of a block party BBQ even.

Like me some thick crust with jalepenos mushrooms and olives.

Also like a thin crust with kalamata olives, feta, spinach, bell peppers, tomatoes, basil, parmesan, with provolone cheese instead of mozzarella.

Atm I am an embarrassment to pizza connoisseurs everywhere cause I mainly order out. I have made some decent grilled pizzas but I want to start perfecting my homemade. I always screw up the dough by making it too thin. Am taking notes from some of you guys and think i can do better.

It's fun to experiment with pizza. There's another local pizza place here called PRI (Pizza Research Institute) and they specialize in strange/exotic pizzas. Last time I went there we tried a walnut/apple/gouda pizza and some other strangely delicious stuff.

One thing I like putting on pizza sometimes is thinly sliced potatoes, especially sweet potatoes. Though they have to be sliced very thin to cook fully while it bakes, but when done right it goes surprisingly well.

Oh yeah, pepperoncinis are also amazing on pizza. Greek pizza with peppers/sausage/olive is incredible, or even just a spicy BBQ pizza.

If you guys are into pizza then don't move to California. We have the shittest pizza in all of the US it seems. The best pizza I've ever had was actually at a gas station in Florida.

There is one good pizza place near me, but it almost doesn't count because they only make 1 kind of pizza everyday and it is fancy pizza. Sometimes they get too fancy and they put beans and fennel and odd shit on them.

We mostly just make our own pizzas. Only once in a while because it is very messy to make a pizza at home

The fucked up thing is how the hell do we not have good pizza in CA? We are a fucking melting pot of the world, but somehow the pizza gods decided to tell us to fuck off.

I actually had a really damn good pie in SF last summer now that I think of it, but I was also super spun on acid and mushrooms, so I’m not sure how reliable my tasting was...

I was at a local music festival years ago and a friend traded some weed to a pizza food booth for a nice big pizza :lol:
