That pizza was over a year ago so I don't remember the details, but that's all standard procedure.
The bottom gets a dusting of coarse corn meal to keep it from sticking.
The crust gets brushed with oil. Sometimes I'll use the oil from a jar of sundried tomatoes, other times just olive oil.
I have a big jar of garlic fermented in honey. Been using that lately, makes for a tasty crust drizzle!

I've got lots of pizza pictures. Hang on, I'll post more.

I don't want to imagine what kind of pizza will be sent by my fellow shroomerites. Too many extra large sausage specials.

Favorite is fried pork belly, grilled pineapple, and spicy carmelized onions with a parsley garlic cream sauce on sourdough crust.

The only time that pineapple is acceptable on pizza.

That's too far away. Let's do it for Spring. March or April. I'm not sure exactly how it will work but something along the lines of purchasing another member a medium or large pizza then that member has to do the same for the next person.

If someone is paranoid about giving the address out then have your pizza delivered close by.

Thin crust or hand tossed, sometimes herb dough, pepperoni, red bells, green olives. Ham and pineapple. Caramelized onions. That bbq chicken pizza from CPK is pretty good. I like to make my own version though. Homemade dough on any of them. Feta, spinach and roasted chicken with olive oil brushed crust. Gorgonzola and walnut with olive oil brushed crust. White pizza sometimes. I like extra sauce with my pizzas and extra cheese.

I used to be very strict about the roundness of my pizza, but over the years I began to accept the theory that pizza can be square. I've become something of a pizza agnostic :shrug:

My favorite is homemade with a tad of BBQ blended in with the sauce, pepperoncinis and sausage. And a mix of cheeses, usually mozzarella + cheddar and a little Parmesan or whatever else is available.

The last Pizza I made had extra dough so I rolled it out extra wide and made cheese stuffed crust :crazy2: And it worked amazingly well, some of the sauce ended up in the crust too. And the crust was thick enough it baked like a deep dish.

I tell all of my friends that I will cook whatever they want for them and clean it up too it's funny sometimes they let me

my one old friend used to cook for me too

I traded a fat bag of weed for a homemade tiramisu cake one time it was so fucking good I ate it all :munchies:

Breakfast pizza!!!


You have to time it right, cracking the eggs onto the pizza when it's halfway or maybe 2/3 done.
I was just a little late this time. By the time the eggs were cooked, the crust was pretty crispy.

Pesto, spinach, peppers, olives, lion's mane mushrooms, onions, cheddar and eggs.

I make "breakfast pizza" using biscuits, as well as potatoes/kale/sausage and plenty of cheese. Not quite pizza but it's similarly delicious.

Made some cheese stuffed crust pizza recently, got an extra big bag of dough and rolled it out so much that it was drooping over the sides of the pizza oven stone I use. So I filled half the crust with ricotta and the rest with mozzarella/white cheddar.

It was amazing but sadly a bit thick/saucy so it didn't cook the best in the middle. But re heating it made it perfectly crisp. Damn I want more pizza :shakefist:

My favorite pizza is a white pizza, with spinach, garlic, fresh mozzarella, and artichokes. I LOVE a good margarita pizza as well.:drooling:

I will say that I prefer thin crust NY style pizza to deep dish or thick crust. Also, Hawaiian style pizzas are not for me. Fruit on a pizza? Nah.

But pizza is a divine gift to humanity any way you look at it. Fuck, I'm hungry.

The only homemade pizzas that I make anymore are naan bread pizzas.

I made breakfast pizza the other day and also used biscuits.  Turned out pretty good but I used a different recipe. 

Ketchup and Siracha on the biscuits
A layer of fried eggs
Chopped bacon and sausage
Cheddar and Gouda cheeses
