Experiment for large amounts of spawn

First off this is not a large amount of spawn its only a 2 bag experiment
If good I'll x5 it

OK here we go we have some grains that got soaked for 24 hours(I have a different way of prepping my grains in bulk)


I didn't even rinse them off or anything so. . .:shrug::lol:

I'm laying them on some netting

I don't think you can see it




OK so I'm quickly going to show get dressed and the I'm filling these bags:

You don't need to shower before filling the bags my friend, sterilization will do the job for you. :smile:

Ye no I'm doing 40 plates of agar after filling the bags +
Its like 9 where I am a woke up late (6) got shit done didn't have time to even get dressed:lol:

Just my 2 cents

Do you got good isolates to use  or are you making isolates to ramp up production cause if not just clone the sexyest fruit body ya got and voila monoculture do a few master jars stretch the g2g get 15 per master jar or jet agar to lc and inject 2 cc of lc per bag of Grain use milo for grain and you have tones of inoculation sites versus rye but rye has more nutesandbetter water retentioni dontmind tradeoff i get quiete satisfactory results colonisation time amd strength of mycelium so i use wbs

Ohhhhhhhhh. I mean, that's not an experiment tho.. it's a tek lol.

I thought he was prepping the grains by just soaking and straining. No boil. Who knows. Good luck anyway.

Just to add tho. My favorite grain prep is NO SOAK. just boil water, turn off heat, pour grains in and let sit for 30 min. Then strain and load jars after about 15 minutes while the grains are still sorta wet. Pc for 2 hours. Viola. Fuck waiting 24 hours for grain to soak. I definitely don't think that far ahead.

Personally i soak for 24 hrs.  Then rimse till they dont smell let sit another 24 hours rinse. Soaks 2-6 hours till they smell then rinse till water runs clean and soak in hottest water your heater makes mines 155° 
For 2 hours till water is room temp pour off excess till theres just water at below the grain level. Then heat till it boils turn heat off and by the tikebthe pot is cold the water is gone and they are dry.  I have had 2 jars contam in 4 months of doing this long ass grain prep i use wbs. I do 60 jars once every 2 weeks i figure all the endospores must sprout from the 3 days of soaking i figure i get left with like no spores or bacterial that doesnt sprout.  So once its pc they all dead

Endospores? I've lost 1 jar in the last 6 or so months to trich.. it's all about water content, pc time, and sterile tek. They all dead after the pc run either way... that's just wayyyyyyyy too much work for me for the same results I already get.

And 60 jars every 2 weeks? That's alot man. But u got a system down.

Cause my plans are to do 240-250 every 2 weeks i want to ramp up production for the summer harvests. For some reason everyone seemed to think I was asking them to show me how to buy basic equipment or something.  no I grow I've been growing for 12 years I don't know how to grow at a you know consistent 30 lb a week or so I need some pointers on the proper things to get.

And its only 30 jars a week is that alot? It gets me 5 - 6, 18 gallon monos and after the first 2 flushes i chuck em. I get a lb dried from the 5 tubs 1.25# on 6 usually.  Come summer ima have like a billion pounds growing in my back yard lols.


so I can get to it 30 lbs a week I can make a pound a week no problem I need to get proper equipment.  I know how to grow fine its the converting to resturant consistency. So the aminita is for personal experience and id like a new spieces to work with

U can't grow aminitas indoors.

30 lbs a week!? U talking about like, 30 fresh pounds of oysters? Or cubes. That's a ridiculous amount lol.

I want 30 lbs of loins mane, nemeko, and enokitake, a week. A local resturant uses them and needs a consistent supply and they are like right down the street from me and i know the owner. So i offered to help supply his summer season.  the aminita pantherina is just to try to grow mycelium and get it in my yard i made black morels come to .y back yard y not pantherinas.  As for cubes only orissa india and "pan cyan Jamaica" are what i will be doing for my weekly 5 tubs of magic.

Ohhh ok I misunderstood before.

Well if ur trying to make the most profit, especially in the beginning, go with the simplest shit possible. Go "all out" when u see they're actually buying them consistently and u got some profit in ur pocket

Minus what ever i buy for this so far the total investment so far is $28 for the spores i get free wood ships/sawdust my friends fam owns a tree care company i get all of their wood chips so i only need a way to do like 10 gallons of spawn per autoclavement per day to make
So i really dont need to buy much just jars or bags.  And like poly tubing to build logs for the loins mane and nemeko the enoki's are getting fruited in the jars like they do in Asia.
