My massive qtr oz harvest off my plant (couldnt find a good spot)was pretty good, i smoked it a week or 2 early lol but it wasnt much to growing a flower.

I would say the cure makes or brakes it cause i had like another qtr of reggie that was garbage cause it dryd out to much.



Im sucha noob when it comes to growing but my green thumb is killer! This bud smelled so good an wax better that the weed i got it out of.
It had plenty of manure tea an sub wasmade like mushroom sub but with alot more drainage.

White widow is all over the place, just not on the street. Idk if I trust the lineage enough to still call many/any actually white widow, but I ended up with some freebie fem seeds from canuk seeds and it ended up being my favourite to grow and smoke from the whole harvest. Very smooth and feels nice rather than just getting me high. I have my seeds for next year already and I picked up a few more free ones, because why not. I think I got 18oz off the one before and that's with minimal/near organic feeding.

I got 5oz's of bud and 2oz's of shake off this one plant, 12in pot, grown on my patio in CO. Used some bat guano and some kind of super food (humboldt power or something) in the first few months, I then just watered the last 3 months it grew. You can see a slight purple to that one leaf, it happened when it got cold outside. Was seed from karmaceuticals from a friend who gave them to me, he used to work there back in 2015. I still have some seeds from there, and I got a couple off the plant. It got fertilized being outside, lol! I also have a few hawaiin seeds from some dispensary weed. I need to get my damn greenhouse up this spring!

If you want purps, you need a purple phenotype.  Just cause its some GDP or Purple Urkle or whatever, doesn't mean it will be purple.

I have some purple GDP right now.  I also used to grow purple phenotype LA Confidential.  That was fire.

Each plant is like a person no two people are the same... no two plants are the same unless it's a direct clone. This being said getting a true purple strain through popping seeds is very difficult because it's all genetic, the purpling. Getting a clone only strain is also difficult because they either aren't shared or cost a lot.

You need to do more research. Because your post sounds like a whiny little girl who's ignorant to facts. Just because bud isnt purple doesnt make it less fire. Purple is simply a pigment why do you think purple weed is better than non purple? Pretty stupid thought process tbh

White widow as been bootlegged and watered down so many times that you have to be a lot more specific than just white widow.

The real white widow is now called black widow to help avoid confusion, pro tip.

Most strains aren't even what they are named anymore.


Like Mr Piggy said, the white widow has been watered down.


This goes for almost every strain, they are all hybrid as fuck, no true genetics anymore unless you know the right people or can verify your seeds.


Indica and Sativa doesn't even mean shit now.

If you buy black widow from Mr Nice, you have the original white widow being made with the original parent plants.

Shantibaba took the mother and father plants with him when he left greenhouse and re-named the offspring to black widow to differentiate from all the other copies out there.

I appreciate true genetics.

Growing some anonymous plant is not as fun as knowing exactly what you're working with and the immense success I feel after harvest.


I can't acquire clones in my state yet as were only medicinal but once we go recreational I will not be asking bud tenders for their opinion because you're right the lack of knowledge is damn near criminal.

I stopped shopping at shops once the novelty wore off.

It's an absolute racket considering how cheap and easy it is to grow.

I also quit the industry here in Oregon.  Everything was fine and ran smooth until it became legal.  Now it's as shady as a gold rush can get.

The dispensary I worked at was full of people who either knew nothing about cannabis, or even worse thought they knew it all while being entirely misinformed.

The owner was someone I'd never work for again.  Absent, unless he was illegally drinking in front of the shop cams (monitored by state gov) or trying to make me package and sell moldy weed.

Guy thought he was a genius buying $200-300 outdoor lbs in dec-jan.  He thought he was getting one up on desperate growers, and he got sold moldy larf every time.  At one point I had to take over intake just so he'd stop buying unsellable garbage.  Shady growers learned to fear me, it was fun to watch them sweat while I pointed out the mold and lepidoptera turds in the buds.

There are some folk fighting the good fight here in Oregon.  Bull Run Cannabis produces some high quality outdoor organic.  They are the only company I'd skip an intake inspection on, besides skyhigh organics.
