Slowed contamination and monster porn

5 days ago I had the dredded white  so ai salted it first and then removed the piece and salted around the edges so I could finish the flush.

For the first time ever the contamination has not returned.  I should imagine it will but I will try for 3rd flush just to watch.

Has anyone else ever done this and had success.  I still dont quite understand how contamination works where u get mold 20 days in.  Are there any good links for this?

Heres some monster porn and a ms tub with a bit missing.....



The bruising around the edge is from the salting

So managed to pull off another 600 wet and now im experimenting to see how the contaminant spreads. 

Does anyone have any expertise on mold ?

I have cut out the whole middle section to watch its movement and speed.

I have more tubs on the go and spare boxes so the next spawn load has a home to give me the joy of bbeing able to watch  grow mold.

In the end I managed to get another 1/2 oz dry out of this.So in total 6oz


So to summarise The contamination looked like it spread form the original spot but was already in the spawn.  I imagine the area it pops up first is where the most mold mycellium is to begin with but the whole grow is doomed...
