Anyone who doesn't support run off voting doesn't understand run off voting.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

What's wrong with any of the things you just mentioned?  It's about time somebody criticizes endless war mongering.

If Trump opposes something, it must be bad. Now we have anti-war liberals crying about bringing the troops back home, 'must support The Establishment agenda'.

Georgia and Louisiana do it. Instant run off is better but probably a harder sell

And an 'adult' criticizing steps being taking to end the warmongering.

It's a very hard sell because most people don't understand why it's such a good system.

Approximately 25% of the country is opposed to change, any sort of change, just because to them change is bad. It doesn't matter if it benefits them, they just want to keeo the ststus quo and are inherently opposed to anything new, different, etc. Idk what to do about those people, I hope one day they can be entirely disenfranchised and wiped off of the earth personally, I'd rather replace them all with syphilis, we'd be far better off.

All change is bad, sometimes not changing is worse, and knowing the difference is wisdom

Hillary said everything was already great in the US, so are her supporters the people you're referring to here?

"Great" is relative. Compared to the majority of the rest of the world we are quite well off, definitely above the curve. You can always do better though, we shouldn't compare ourselves to others, we should compare ourselves to where we are, where we have come from, and where we can go.

Correct, she said America doesn't need to be great again, because it's already great relative to the past.  So are her supporters the people you were referring too?

Why not, they're obviously the people that were the most resistant to changing the status quo?

So which people were you referring too?

I don't think that having a decent sized minority, which is opposed to change, is a bad thing. I really believe that it takes all kinds.

Many senior citizens in retirement with SS, medicare and a steady pension are very resistant to any political change.

Many wanted to vote for Trump, but calculated Hillary would be the safer bet for maintaining the status quo.

Being opposed to change in itself isn't bad, we all appreciate stability, but being opposed to change in the face of facts or a changing reality is incredibly detrimental.

Man there would be nothing better than ending the senseless violence in the Middle East, I totally agree.

Mattis though had 4 decades of experience, his advice was invalueable, so too was McGurks sensitive dealings with Iran.
The allies on the ground in Syria were 'pushed under a bus' by Spanky McBonespurs tweet diplomacy. He talked about crooked Hillary putting military lives at risk, well he just eclipsed that by 1000
No one was advised, intelligence ignored(probably not even read, too much golf to play).

As for the Fed Reserve, if Trump had any idea how the stock market worked he would know that a president SHOULD NOT open his big yap in relation to their monetary policy.
My guess is his only knowledge of the stock market comes from insider trading with his obnoxious buddies.

Are you joking?  Do you believe they actually had a plan for making things better in Syria?  That this time things would turn out better than Iraq, Libya, or Afghanistan?
