So I know you can't really grow wavy caps seen as there very hard to fruit.
But I got this culture I've been working on(friend got spores and send me some) cleaning it up on agar and everything it seem to be growing nicely.

I was thinking can make the normal PF mix and mix in 50 PF / 50 wood and nock them up and crumble, case?

Or do someone have a better idea?

You mean Ps. Cyanescens? You can grow them. Usually outdoors, but you can do it inside too.

I mean, colonize some wood, have the right conditions and wait. Like growing any mushrooms.

If your only question is "will you teach me" then the answer is no.

Go look up some grows, see what they did. Find what they all have in common. That's what you have to do. You might have wiggle room in some places. Ask a specific question that shows you did more than 5 minutes of research and I'll answer to the best of my ability. You've been around long enough to know I don't hold hands.

A lot of people grow ps cyan. The easiest non-cube wood-lover mushroom to grow in my opinion.

Basically u colonize wood chips with mycelium then case it with say coir coir and put it outside (keep it moist) during the Fall days if you have the season.

Ive heard people fruiting them in fridges. Never tried it thou :shrug:

Some people use flower pots as growing containers. Im doing a shoebox type setup this attempt.

OK guys so I knocked up a jar of WBS and I got growth
Will be putting up picks soon

I'm thinking to G2G it to jars then to bags.
There after I'll make a nice big patch outside and try a few tubs inside.
Any opinions?

For some reason, my little shoebox of ps cyan mycelium wood chips isnt fruiting. I dont know why. I must be missing something.

No harm in trying for an indoor flush but put most of your stock into an outdoor bed as it will almost certainly produce sooner or later. There's a reason only a handful of "successful" indoor grows have been logged over the years and even fewer have been repeatable. It's not due to the lack of a fridge. If they were easy to fruit indoor, everyone would be growing them.

I subscribe to the idea they require some kind of microbial interaction to induce pinning. The microbial balance falls out once you bring an unsterilized casing indoors resulting in poor fruiting at best and contamination at worst. The most successful indoor grows I have seen were done by mixing spawn with unsterilized potting mix or mulch in containers and colonizing outdoors.

I would make your patch in early Fall. That way by late Fall u should have fruiting.

Yup I'm going to be using most of my spawn outdoors
But will still be fun to fail with a indoor grow:lol:

I'm aiming for 50l - 80l worth of spawn for outdoor patch

Please do attempt an indoor grow. You may discover something of value to indoor cultivation. It's always worth experimenting.
The outdoor patch doesn't need to be that deep. 15cm is plenty. You could also consider placing some spawn into flower pots incase the insects get to your outdoor bed. Plenty of further reading over at The Official Woodlovers Thread:thumbup:

insecticide will end up inside the mushrooms. Fungi are known for absorbing toxins from the environment.
