We didnt have "scene" kids until I was in high school and I was quite upset @ being lumped in with them.

Not “scene” like you’re talking about, but here’s a friend and I in 1998.  We were raver kids back then, and this is typical fashion.  Big pants, and bleaching your head was common.  The sunglasses are just us being silly for the camera though.  I also used to tie an onion to my belt.

Would have to ask my mother if she has photos from my grad she could scan and send me
but while all the girls were in big elaborate grad dresses, and the guys were in tuxedos
personally wore a black fake leather jacket
over a pair of "one-legged" bondage pants (it's as much of a full length skirt as it sounds)

had so many different chains and stuff hanging off me that it caused jingling with my walk

bless her heart, the girl who was assigned to walk next to me for the grad procession
got herself an big ornate orange dress to wear with her long black hair
we looked like we were celebrating Halloween
while most of the rest of the girls were in more springtime blues and yellows:cookiemonster:
